Compensation for drug-induced deficiencies in micronutrients

Many medications lead to certain micronutrient deficiencies over time. This is a consequence of the (in this case probably necessary) intervention in our natural metabolism. In order for the medication to have a therapeutic effect, a certain process or substance is inhibited, excreted in greater quantities or modified in some other way by the medication.

In the long term, however, this can lead to nutrient deficiencies, which in turn can lead to sensitivities that may then be interpreted as a side effect of the medication.

Let’s go through your medication plan together and correct or prevent nutritional deficiencies.

In addition, for some indications, we could have a look at whether nutritional therapy can reduce medication doses over time or, in the best case, even make them unnecessary.
