aBOUT ME

As a former competitive speed skater, I have always had an enormous interest in the human body and its functions.
I therefore decided to study human medicine at the Charité in Berlin.

I was always particularly interested in the workings of the body, the cogwheels, so to speak, that interlock and run in parallel. In other words, the processes (physiology/pathophysiology) and the metabolism (biochemistry). However, I became increasingly frustrated at how little application these subjects seemed to have in the practice of medicine if you didn't want to pursue research. By chance or fate, I came across mentors and like-minded people who were working in the field of orthomolecular and functional medicine and bioidentical hormone therapy. They opened up a world of metabolism and personalized medicine to me. The spark inside of me was ignited.

Since I also saw intensive care medicine as a form of very individualized therapy which also took into account the peculiarities of each patient's metabolism, I began my professional life in this field.
When I contracted COVID-19 at work, where we were treating many severely ill Covid patients, I realized over time that I was no longer getting back on track. Instead of getting better, I was getting worse. After some time, I had to realize that I had post-COVID.

After several therapies had brought only limited help, I suddenly realized: “I am an individual with my own metabolism and my own metabolic peculiarities. I have to deal with this accordingly”.
Happy to be able to fall back on my medical knowledge, I researched, applied my knowledge - and wondered how someone without medical knowledge could do the same.
The idea of using this expertise to help others was born.
I completed my reintegration/stress test with my mentor, Dr. Susanne Jacob, an orthomolecular medicine specialist. She also encouraged me to share my findings with other sufferers. As an expert, so to speak. After all, what motivates you more to learn about a topic than being affected by it yourself?
So I can only say to you:

Dear patients, you can be sure that I will not only treat you with empathy and knowledge, but can also understand what you are going through, at least in part (the symptoms are very individual and different), thanks to my own experience of being affected. Especially when it comes to seeking medical help with empathy, I have already been in your position - and would now like be there for you.

In the meantime, my expertise has expanded even further. The focus of my work is:
